Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant who wants to make a real difference? At Aurora Cedars School, we are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support our pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development within a nurturing and inclusive environment.

About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Inclusion & Pastoral), you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with a range of additional needs to thrive both academically and emotionally. You'll work closely with teachers, the SENDCo, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and able to reach their full potential.
What You'll Be Doing
🌱 Pastoral & Inclusion Support
- Supporting pupils' wellbeing, behaviour, and emotional development
- Promoting positive behaviour strategies in line with Behaviour Support Plans (BSP) and risk assessments
- Building strong, trusting relationships so pupils feel safe and engaged
- Supporting personal care needs where required
- Contributing to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare at all times
- Supporting pastoral systems and attending inclusion meetings
📚 Teaching & Learning
- Supporting the delivery of engaging lessons and learning activities
- Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Adapting resources and strategies to meet individual needs
- Occasionally leading group learning or modelling teaching strategies
- Supporting EHCP outcomes and pupil development across the curriculum
📊 Progress & Monitoring
- Tracking pupil progress and providing meaningful feedback
- Recording behaviour, wellbeing, and learning outcomes
- Contributing to reviews, reports, and planning
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and professionals to support each pupil's journey
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Qualified to Level 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
- Experienced working with children with SEN and additional needs
- Confident managing behaviour, including behaviours that challenge
- Passionate about inclusion, pastoral care, and pupil wellbeing
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Positive, adaptable, and committed to making a difference
