Wilden View School is seeking an inspiring and resilient Assistant Headteacher – Behaviour, Attitudes and Culture to join our senior leadership team.

This is a pivotal role at the heart of our school, leading the development of a positive, inclusive and aspirational culture where every student can thrive. You will champion high standards of behaviour, drive personal development, and ensure all pupils experience a safe, structured and enriching school life.

About the role

Working closely with the Headteacher, you will:

  • Lead the strategic direction for behaviour, attitudes and school culture
  • Create a culture of success, with high expectations for all students
  • Oversee the implementation and impact of behaviour systems and policies
  • Analyse behaviour and pastoral data to inform improvement strategies
  • Lead and develop the pastoral team
  • Drive PSHE and personal development across the school
  • Support high levels of engagement, attendance and inclusion
  • Model excellent teaching through a timetabled teaching commitment

You will also play a key role in whole-school leadership, contributing to strategic planning, staff development and continued school improvement.

About you

We're looking for a dynamic leader who:

  • Has successful leadership experience in a school setting
  • Brings strong pastoral expertise and a passion for student development
  • Can inspire staff and students to achieve the very best outcomes
  • Has experience working with SEND learners (desirable)
  • Demonstrates resilience, emotional intelligence and high expectations
